NYI is pleased to announce our second International Photo Contest. The theme of the contest is On Stage, and we're collecting submissions of photographs that depict the performing arts. The winning photograph might depict a Broadway spectacular, a street juggler, or a family singing by a campfire — we're interested in seeing the different ways that photographers around the world interpret the words On Stage.

The On Stage photo contest is co-sponsored by NYI and JPG Magazine. Top photographs will be selected by the JPG editorial staff;and winners will be published in JPG magazine, in addition to receiving $100 and a subscription to JPG Magazine. Submissions are now closed, but you can vote for your favorite images until August 12th, 2008 at 11:59pm.

We invite you to enter pictures to the On Stage theme. It's easy and free. To submit a photograph to the contest, all you have to do is become a member of the JPG community which is free and just requires that you register, pick a user name and then a password. Once you do that you can submit pictures, vote on the On Stage theme or other themes for Issue 18 of the magazine, and have a whole lot of fun.
